Based in Houston, Rodney Goodie joined the St. Hope Foundation in 1999. As the chief executive officer of the health center, he is charged with all matters of strategic direction and the management of daily operations. He oversees the health center staff while also collaborating closely with senior leadership in areas of administration and financial planning. He is also responsible for policymaking, budgeting, compliance, and community relations. Under the leadership of Rodney Goodie, the St. Hope Foundation has earned multiple Top Workplace Awards and Winner of Distinction Awards from the Better Business Bureau.
Rodney Goodie studied sociology as an undergraduate at the University of Houston. He continued his education at Texas Tech University, earning a master of business administration in health care. In 2016, he enrolled in a doctor of public health program at Emory University, with an emphasis on prevention science. He also serves on the Cougar Athletic Alliance board.
